On April 13, Tonkon Torp hosted the OSB Sustainable Future Section for a CLE discussion on and viewing of the documentary Merchants of Doubt. The film examines how misinformation about climate science has been disseminated through public relations strategies and cultivated scientists to generate doubt about scientific consensus, distort policy discussions, and delay timely governmental responses to emerging ecological damage and human suffering. The event, co-sponsored by Senior Advocates for Generational Equity (SAGE) and the Center for Earth Leadership, was brought to Tonkon Torp by Max Miller.
