Tonkon Torp business immigration attorney Melany Savitt was a featured speaker at the American Immigration Lawyer Association’s (AILA) annual national conference in Orlando, Florida on June 24, 2023.
Melany and her co-presenters guided an audience of immigration professionals through the new PERM Labor Certification application form. Their discussion also covered key considerations for the application process, including defining what is normal in a job’s requirements and using after-acquired experience with the employer. Among further topics, the workshop also covered how to manage immigration needs and follow up on PERM efforts in the wake of layoffs, corporate mergers, and acquisitions.
