Claire Brown Appointed to Youth Progress Board

Tonkon Torp attorney Claire Brown has been appointed to the board of Youth Progress, a non-profit, independent living organization that provides Oregon youth with skills and structure to help them become successful community members.

Brown is an associate in Tonkon Torp’s Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurial Services and Business Law practice groups. With experience in finance and SEC enforcement, she counsels clients on various business and fundraising matters. Brown is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and holds an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Established in 1964, Youth Progress provides day treatment and residential living programs as well as an accredited learning center for at-risk youth aged 13 to 24. The majority of these youth have various special needs, have been involved in the juvenile corrections system and the foster care system, and do not have a stable and appropriate home resource.
