Erickson Reviews Trademark Law for Oregon State Bar Seminar

Chris Erickson presented an update on trademark law at a recent Oregon State Bar-hosted seminar titled, “Intellectual Property Review – Updates & Changes from 2013.” His presentation included a review of recent federal cases, proceedings of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), trends in trademark filing and prosecution, amendments to Chinese trademark laws and case law trends in keyword advertising. He also discussed ICANN’s new generic top level domains (gTLD) program.

 

Erickson is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, where he focuses on trademark protection, negotiation of technology and software license and purchase agreements, and helping clients with the valuation of their intellectual property assets.
