Blerina Kotori Selected for Oregon State Bar Civil Rights Section

Tonkon Torp attorney Blerina Kotori has been selected to serve on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s Civil Rights Section. The Oregon State Bar Civil Rights Section provides bar members with opportunities to develop their civil rights skills and with a forum to communicate and take action on matters of mutual interest. The section publishes an eight-page newsletter four times a year, hosts an annual full-day CLE seminar, contributes to the Campaign for Equal Justice, and monitors legislation that affects civil rights. Blerina’s term will run through December 2016.

Blerina is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment and Information Privacy & Security practice groups. In her Labor & Employment law practice, Blerina advises and represents employers in various matters, including discrimination, retaliation, FMLA/OFLA and other leave laws, wage and hour, sexual harassment, disability, and employment benefits. She further specializes on data privacy and security and assists companies with dealing with data security breaches.
