U.S. News & World Report-Best Lawyers has released its 2012-2013 edition of the “Best Law Firms” publication and has awarded Portland’s Tonkon Torp LLP national ranking for six practice areas and Portland metropolitan area ranking for 38 of its practice areas. Earning a Tier 2 national ranking are the firm’s Corporate Law and Immigration Law practices.
Jeffrey Cronn leads the firm’s Business Department, which provides comprehensive business counsel to Northwest companies of all sizes, from large, publicly traded corporations to closely-held family businesses. The Immigration Practice Group, led by Turid Owren, works with some of the region’s largest manufacturing, healthcare and technology organizations to help them successfully hire and retain foreign workers for U.S. assignments.
Tonkon Torp again earned a Tier 3 national ranking for its Securities/Capital Markets Law and Tax Law practices, and also garnered Tier 3 national rankings for Commercial Litigation and Litigation – Regulatory Enforcement.
