Tonkon Torp Offers “Show Me the Money” Series for New Business Founders

Tonkon Torp’s Entrepreneurial Services practice group is hosting a three-part series of programs designed to help start-up companies understand funding issues in connection with the launch and growth of their businesses. The programs are open to the public at no charge, but do require advance registration.

The first program, slated for April 23 from 4 – 6 p.m. in Tonkon Torp’s downtown Portland office, features representatives from the “funding” sector. Speakers include Scott Sandler, Fund Manager at Oregon Angel Fund; Jim Huston, Co-Managing Director of Portland Seed Fund; Nitin Rai, angel investor and President of TiE Oregon; and Irving Levin, serial entrepreneur and active angel investor. The panel will be moderated by Jeff Woodcox and Leon Simson.

Tonkon Torp’s Entrepreneurial Services Practice Group works with start-up and fast-growing businesses to help entrepreneurs lay a financial and structural foundation for growth. The group also advises seed, angel, venture and other investment firms in all aspects of investing. The “Show Me the Money” series was developed to provide aspiring business founders with access to funders and successful entrepreneurs who are willing to share information and practical advice about how move forward.
