On April 18, Tonkon Torp hosted the Partners in Diversity for their Breakfast of Champions. Tonkon's Diversity Task Force helped to sponsor the event. The mission of Partners in Diversity is to partner with Oregon and southwest Washington member employers to attract and retain professionals of color. Breakfast for Champions is a quarterly event that allows practitioners to share best practices surrounding a particular topic. The topic is always centered on some aspect of recruiting, retaining or supporting professionals of color. Carey Jones took the lead on organizing this event.
