On May 17, Tonkon Torp Business Immigration partners Alan Perkins and Melany Savitt hosted a roundtable briefing on Form I-9.
During the full-house event, Alan and Melany led attendees through the completion steps of the current Form I-9. For each section of the form, they noted tips, updates, and shared examples of acceptable documentation. They also alerted attendees of the COVID-19 remote inspection flexibility policy end date. Throughout the briefing, they shared advice on navigating difficult completion situations and how to troubleshoot mistakes. The attorneys also provided background on compliance and retention policies, and resources for locating additional information and tools.
