Blerina Kotori Leads Discussion on Workplace Implicit Bias and Sexual Harassment

On March 22, Tonkon Torp employment law partner Blerina Kotori led a discussion for the Women’s Center for Leadership (WCL) on implicit bias and workplace sexual harassment. Blerina identified when inappropriate behavior crosses the line into unlawful conduct, explored barriers that women face in obtaining leadership positions and gaining workplace recognition, and offered strategies to overcome those barriers. Attendees participated in the workshop to learn to develop responses to implicit bias in the workplace. The session gave attendees practical solutions for supporting women, amplifying their voices, and reporting harassment.

Blerina is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. She represents and defends employers in employment matters including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour compliance, leave laws, and employment benefits.
