Rocky Dallum Joins The ALS Association Board of Directors

Tonkon Torp partner Rocky Dallum has joined the Board of Directors for the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter of The ALS Association. The ALS Association leads the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy.

Dallum's long-standing dedication to the ALS community is inspired by his mother's battle with the disease when he was a teenager. He relates, "I'm passionate about The ALS Association and its services supporting families struggling with sickness, especially those supporting kids dealing with the loss of a parent. Based on my own experience, I know how meaningful these services can be. Joining The ALS Association board gives me the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of organizations and individuals committed to giving help and hope to families just like mine who are facing or have faced this terrible disease."

Dallum is a partner in the firm's Government Relations & Public Policy Practice Group. He provides strategic counsel to businesses, nonprofits and trade associations on public policy issues and advocates on their behalf within the state executive and legislative branches. Dallum is particularly active in the areas of tax policy, life sciences, and natural resources.

Since its inception in 2002, the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter of The ALS Association is the central source for services and education for people living with ALS, their families, caregivers, and health care professionals in all of Oregon and the six counties of Southwest Washington.
