Tonkon Torp and its Pro Bono Committee made a contribution in support of Lewis & Clark Law School's Small Business Legal Clinic (SBLC). The SBLC provides hands on legal training to second and third-year law student interns. Under the supervision of experienced attorneys, interns take the lead role in the representation of low-income, small, and emerging businesses and nonprofit organizations. The SBLC operates as a law firm, with interns billing time and maintaining client files. In its previous fiscal year, the SBLC served 280 clients.
