On April 5, business attorney Brenda Meltebeke and guest Eric Boothe, of Elevate Capital Fund and Elevate Inclusive Fund, shared a detailed due diligence road map with entrepreneurs. With Brenda bringing a seasoned legal approach and Eric providing an investor's perspective, the pair navigated the conversation through key due diligence checkpoints that every startup should prepare for regardless of an investor's experience. Topics included corporate documentation, securities and shareholder information, corporate finance, contracts and operations, sales and marketing, intellectual property, employment, and other important legal and regulatory information.
