Tonkon Torp is a sponsor of Oregon Humanities’ 2017 Think & Drink series, the first of which was held on January 25. That event focused on Oregon’s history of discrimination in land ownership and the effect of this history on identity and belonging. The conversation topic was introduced by Jeff Cronn, who serves on the Oregon Humanities board of directors. Think & Drink is put together by Oregon Humanities to spark provocative conversations about big ideas. Since 2009, Oregon Humanities has hosted Think & Drink conversations with writers, civic leaders, activists, and artists in bars, cafes, pubs, and theaters in Portland and around Oregon.
