Leon Simson and David Forman Demystify the Cap Table at Tonkon Talk

Business attorneys Leon Simson and David Forman dove into the mysteries of cap tables during the November 2 Tonkon Talk. They broke down a cap table, which outlines who owns what securities of a company, and they shared several ways the cap table could evolve as a startup receives funding.

Leon is a member of the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services, Corporate Finance, and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. He is an experienced corporate and business restructuring attorney who represents corporate clients in a wide range of business matters. David is a member of the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services, Corporate Finance, and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Groups. He advises emerging, small and mid-market private companies in their general corporate, financing and transactional matters.

“Tonkon Talks in the Pearl” is a series of lunch-hour presentations hosted by the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services Group. They are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the firm’s CENTRL Office location in the Pearl District. The talks provide an overview on legal topics that impact entrepreneurs and startups.
