Tonkon Torp merger & acquisition attorney, Sherrill Corbett, addressed the Young Lawyers Section of the Multnomah Bar Association on May 30 on the topic of the purchase and sale of a business or its assets.
Corbett, who chairs the firm’s M & A Practice Group, counsels clients on buying and selling businesses and structuring complex joint ventures. Also a member of the Corporate Finance Practice Group, she has expertise in handling corporate finance transactions, advising clients on bank financings, private placements and public offerings. She has represented The Greenbrier Companies, among others, in numerous corporate finance and acquisition matters.
