Tonkon Torp Supports Central City Concern Event

Tonkon Torp was a supporter at a Central City Concern (CCC) event for the Letty Owings Center, where addicted mothers and pregnant women can live and recover with their children. Tonkon’s involvement with the event was organized by Susan O’Donnell. Susan has served on various CCC boards for over 15 years. Central City Concern is a nonprofit serving single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions. The event raised $36,000, all of which will go towards building affordable housing for CCC constituents. Since the Letty Owings Center’s inception in 1989, more than 1,300 families have recovered their lives and 237 babies have been born drug-free.
