Tonkon Torp attorney Kristin Bremer Moore was the keynote speaker at the March 19 meeting of the Institute of Management Accountants, Portland chapter. She discussed “Social Media Policies in the Workplace,” including how social media may and may not be used by an employer in employee hiring or firing decisions.
Bremer Moore is a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. She represents companies and nonprofit organizations in employment and labor matters including advice and litigation in wage and hour law, collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, labor organizing, sex harassment, family medical leave, disability law and accommodations, and whistle blowing.
