Tonkon Torp Litigator Hosts Securities Law Discussion

Tonkon Torp litigator, William (Rick) Martson, Jr., joins Willamette University Law School professor Mike Eisenberg in a February 26 presentation on current federal and state securities law topics including SEC enforcement priorities, Oregon Supreme Court decisions and private equity investments in state pension funds. The lunch meeting is hosted by Tonkon Torp at the firm’s offices and will be attended by securities law practitioners from other Portland firms.  

 

Martson is a founding member of Tonkon Torp and practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, where he specializes in civil cases before state and federal courts. He is a Visiting Professor at Willamette University Law School and a past president of the International Society of Barristers. He has tried over 200 cases involving securities and shareholder rights as well as natural resource and environmental based litigation.
