The Coalition of Community Health Clinics has acknowledged the pro bono work of Kristin Bremer Moore and Andrea Schmidt. At its February board meeting, the organization presented “Safety Net Champion” Awards to both lawyers.
The Coalition of Community Health Clinics is a network of 14 safety net clinic groups across the Portland-Metro area, serving over 57,000 low-income patients annually. In honoring Bremer Moore and Schmidt, the board said, “We believe that all people should have access to the healthcare that they need to be healthy. Kristin and Drea’s pro bono work has helped us become a stronger organization to more effectively serve vulnerable populations throughout the Portland-Metro area, and we thank them for their support of community-wide health equity!”
