Corbett Gordon Joins Tonkon Torp’s L&E Practice

One of the Pacific Northwest’s most respected labor and employment lawyers has joined the growing labor and employment practice at Tonkon Torp LLP. Corbett Gordon, formerly a founder and senior counsel at the Portland office of Fisher & Phillips, brings to the relationship over three decades of experience representing private and public sector employers.

An experienced litigator, Gordon has tried cases before juries in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and successfully prevailed in client appeals in state and federal courts as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court.

“We’re delighted to have Corbett join our practice as a senior counsel,” said Robert L. Carey, who leads the nine-lawyer practice group. “Her depth of experience in traditional labor and collective bargaining matters, as well as in general employment law, further enhances our ability to meet diverse clients needs.”

The Best Lawyers in America selected Gordon as the top management labor lawyer in Portland in 2012. She has been consistently named among America’s Leading Business Lawyers by Chambers USA. She is “AV” Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been honored as one of the top 25 female lawyers in Oregon.

“I am excited and pleased to be working with such talented lawyers,” said Gordon. “Tonkon Torp offers business clients access to excellent legal representation in all aspects of their business operation and planning.”

Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group provides practical solutions to labor and employment problems for a diverse group of Pacific Northwest employers. The firm helps clients promote positive employee relations, protect competitive positions, deal with union activity and defend against or minimize exposure to employment litigation.
