Tonkon Torp’s Bob Carey Elected to Human Resources Board

Tonkon Torp attorney Robert L. Carey has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Portland Human Resource Management Association (PHRMA), and he will serve as the board’s General Counsel. 

 

Carey leads Tonkon Torp’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, where he represents companies in employment litigation and provides counsel on a wide range of employment and labor law issues. His substantial jury trial experience in Oregon and Washington includes defending wrongful discharge, discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and whistleblower cases to verdict, and he has defended numerous labor arbitrations and cases before the NLRB. Carey is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

 

Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group provides practical solutions to labor and employment problems for a diverse group of Pacific Northwest employers.
