Tonkon Torp Labor & Employment Lawyer Contributes to Award-Winning Legal Education Book
Tonkon Torp labor and employment attorney Clay Creps is a contributor to a book for the legal profession that has earned a national award.
The 2011 edition of Labor and Employment Law: Private Sector has won the Association for Continuing Legal Education's (ACLEA) Best Award of Outstanding Achievement. The Oregon State Bar Association coordinated the book's publication and tapped Creps, one of the state's expert labor and employment lawyers, to author a chapter on independent contractors. The book serves as an easy reference on all state and federal laws covering the broad scope of labor and employment law in Oregon.
Creps is a member of Tonkon Torp's Labor & Employment practice group, which provides practical solutions to labor and employment problems for a diverse group of Pacific Northwest employers. The firm helps clients promote positive employee relations, protect competitive positions, deal with union activity and defend against or minimize exposure to employment litigation.
ACLEA is an international organization of continuing legal education providers, legal publishers, bar associations, law schools and law firm educational development professionals. The association's Best Awards recognize the contributions of its professional member organizations.
