The Forest Park Conservancy’s board of directors elected Tonkon Torp attorney Ryan Bledsoe to join the nonprofit’s board.
An avid hiker and runner, Bledsoe spends time every week enjoying Forest Park and the Wildwood Trail. Along with his wife and son, Bledsoe is participating in the 2011 Forest Park Conservancy All Trails Challenge, by agreeing to walk approximately 80 miles of trails while raising awareness and funds for the Conservancy..
Bledsoe joined Tonkon Torp in 2007 and is a senior associate. His practice focuses on antitrust, securities, and business litigation. He was named a “Rising Star” in the 2010 and 2011 editions of the national publication Super Lawyers.
Bledsoe earned his J.D. from the Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. Prior to attending law school, he worked for several years as a research assistant and financial analyst for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington D.C.
The Forest Park Conservancy supports responsible stewardship of Forest Park through trail maintenance, habitat restoration, education, and advocacy. Forest Park is one of the country’s largest urban forest reserves. It includes 5,157 acres of land that have been preserved for the past 60 years by Oregonians.
