Bob Carey Lends Expertise to HR Management Class at U of O

Tonkon Torp attorney Bob Carey was recently a guest instructor for a Human Resources Management class on employment law at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business.

 

During a student-led presentation about the history of Title VII and its resulting laws and cases, Bob provided a practitioner’s perspective, helping the students clarify and elaborate on Title VII issues by sharing real-life case examples. After the presentation, Bob conducted a Q&A with the class that touched upon a variety of employment law topics.

 

Bob is a member of Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing companies on a broad range of employment-related issues and litigation, labor negotiations and arbitrations, and various matters before the NLRB. Bob is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
