Alan Perkins, a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Immigration Department, recently presented an update to the Oregon State Bar’s International Law, Business Law, and Taxation Sections on Employment Based Immigration Law.
The presentation explored issues concerning the employment of foreign nationals in the United States, including updates on employment-based immigration strategies for temporary visas and permanent residence. Perkins also addressed executive actions proposed by the Obama Administration affecting employment-based immigration.
Perkins’ practice focuses on assisting large and small companies with the hiring and retention of foreign national employees and advising clients on continuing employment issues involving foreign nationals in the United States.
