Larissa has nearly 20 years’ experience in the legal field and has been a member of Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department since 2011. In her work as a paralegal, she takes on whatever is needed, including background research, fact development, document production, discovery analysis, and trial support. Larissa is happiest when digging through mountains of documents or puzzling over numbers in a spreadsheet. She also puts her artistic background and talents to use by creating effective trial graphics and demonstrative exhibits. She is valued for her attention to detail, hard-working ethos, and creative problem solving. In recent years, Larissa has assisted in several complex litigation trials, including a three-week federal jury trial in a dispute over claimed trade secrets in software as a service platforms.
Larissa joined Tonkon Torp in 2006, first as a member of the firm’s Records and Docketing departments before moving into a legal assistant role with the Bankruptcy and Litigation groups. A former college athlete in both soccer and softball, Larissa was named to the NCAA Division III All-American Second Team and the Academic All-American First Team as an outfielder in 2002. Larissa was also a member of the Tonkon Torp softball team for multiple years before hanging up her cleats. Now she enjoys watching sports from the stands and loves following the Blazers and the Timbers. And she knows how to juggle.
