Tonkon Torp Litigator Presents Continuing Legal Education Seminar on Conflicts of Interest

Tonkon Torp litigator Frank J. Weiss was a recent presenter at a National Business Institute seminar on Legal Ethics: Solutions to the Most Common Problems. Weiss spoke on the topic of Identifying and Avoiding Conflicts of Interest.

Weiss is the Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Ethical Issues Committee. He recently was appointed to serve on the Multnomah Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee and the Oregon State Bar (OSB) Disciplinary Board. He is a former member of the Oregon State Bar’s legal ethics committee.

A partner in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department, Weiss’ practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage and sports marketing. He represents regional and national entities involved in disputes in Oregon and across the country. His experience includes trial work in federal and state courts, private arbitration and mediation.
