On July 12, Tonkon Torp hosted Third Rail Repertory Theatre for a donor and cast party. Ava Schoen, a Third Rail board member, was the attorney in charge of this event. She attended the event and helped with setup and cleanup.
Third Rail Repertory Theatre was founded in 2003 with the goal of delivering artistic excellence to Portland audiences on a consistent basis. Third Rail’s permanent ensemble was modelled after the Group Theatre of the 1930s and Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre.
