Gwen Griffith Speaks at OSB Tax Reform Lunch and Learn

Tonkon Torp partner Gwen Griffith presented at the April 18 “Lunch and Learn” program hosted by the Oregon State Bar. Gwen’s presentation was on the business tax aspects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. She focused on the new, lower tax rates for corporations and owners of pass-through businesses, as well as on the international aspects of the Tax Act that are relevant to Northwest businesses and their owners.

Gwen has a wide-ranging tax practice that cover matters of business taxation, personal tax issues, advice to nonprofits and local governments, and estate planning. She serves on the Advisory Board of The Tax Advisor, the publication of the American Institute of CPAs, and is an author of several books on tax and wealth transition planning. She is a frequent speaker on tax issues for the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and other organizations.
