Tonkon Torp tax attorney, Gwen Griffith, was a recent presenter at a Mid-Valley Tax Forum luncheon program in Salem. Griffith, who chairs the firm’s Taxation Practice Group, gave a federal tax update on recent cases and rulings to an audience of Certified Public Accountants and tax attorneys. The Forum is associated with the Tax Section of the Oregon State Bar.
Griffith’s practice covers a wide range of matters including partnership and corporate taxation as well as estate planning. Tonkon Torp’s tax attorneys advise businesses of all sizes and nonprofit organizations on tax aspects of business structure, tax compliance and controversy, mergers and acquisitions, as well as executive compensation and tax-qualified/nonqualified retirement plans.
