On March 17, Tonkon Torp was a Patron Sponsor for the eighth consecutive year at Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest’s annual “Power of the Purse” auction. Turid Owren has been a Girls Inc. board member since 2012. She attended the event along with Kristin Bremer Moore and others. This year’s Power of the Purse event was Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest’s most successful event ever, raising over $430,000 for “strong, smart and bold girls.”
