Mark stepped into the role of Chief Information Officer in 2022. He joined Tonkon Torp in 2012 as a Desktop Support Analyst bringing over 25 years of experience in electronics engineering and quality assurance management. His experience includes project leadership, industrial sensors and systems development, CE compliant design, and TQM/QFD/Six Sigma/Taguchi/ISO 9001 methodologies.
Mark’s information technology experience includes network management and client side virtualization technology. Prior to relocating to Portland, Mark worked at several New England companies specializing in industrial sensing, semiconductor processing, and medical sensor/analytics technologies.
Career highlights include:
- Development of the first self-calibrating industrial combustion control device with a patent obtained on manipulation and control of self-calibrating oxygen sensors.
- Assisted in the development of the first self-calibrating pneumo/cardiac monitor for SIDS detection and remediation.
- Obtained Six Sigma Green Belt certification and achieved ISO 9001 certification for the industrial sensing division of a Fortune 500 global manufacturing and services company.
- Used TQM/QFD/Taguchi methods to assist a semiconductor instrumentation provider in obtaining a Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award.
- Implemented/maintained the virtual infrastructure to support 180+ Windows 10 client endpoints in the legal services industry.
