Austin is an associate in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department with a practice focused on complex litigation matters, including civil antitrust issues and commercial real estate disputes. He graduated summa cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he was Lead Article Editor at the Lewis & Clark Law Review, Treasurer of the schools’ Data Privacy Group, and a research assistant for Professor Samir Parikh and Professor Hadley Van Vactor. As a law student, Austin worked at Tonkon Torp as a 2L Summer Associate and served as a Judicial Extern for Justice Stephen K. Bushong at the Oregon Supreme Court and Hon. Jolie A. Russo at the U.S. District Court in Portland.
Prior to launching his law career, Austin worked for several years as a freelance technical writer and data analyst, including as an Associate Media Analyst with Wieden+Kennedy.
His passions outside of work include horror movies, indie video games, baking, world travel, and spending time outdoors with his dog.

Litigation attorney Austin Magleby has joined the Board of Directors for the Oregon Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society. The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) is the nation’s foremost progressive legal organization, with a diverse nationwide network that includes nearly 250 student and lawyer chapters, and progressive lawyers, students, judges, scholars, elected officials, and advocates.
