Trade Secret Law Subject of Presentation for Young Lawyers

Tonkon Torp attorneys David Aman and Jon Stride spoke about “Basics of Trade Secret Law” on September 22 as part of a Continuing Legal Education series on intellectual property law hosted by the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.

Aman and Stride recently were each named to The Best Lawyers in America® 2012 for intellectual property and commercial litigation.  

Aman chairs the Tonkon Torp Intellectual Property Law Group. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in cases of patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation and other business disputes. A graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School, he has practiced with Tonkon Torp for 15 years.

Stride has been a litigator for over 20 years. He represents businesses and individuals in a variety of disputes before state and federal courts. His practice has particular focus on intellectual property and other complex issues. A graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, Stride joined Tonkon Torp in 1990 following a career as a high school teacher and counselor.

The presentation was at noon in the Standard Insurance Center auditorium in downtown Portland.
