Tonkon Torp made a sponsorship payment to the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) in support of their 125th anniversary agenda. Formed in 1891, MAC is a private, not-for-profit athletic and social club in southwest Portland. Throughout 2016, MAC is planning numerous activities for members and the public to celebrate their 125th anniversary. Activities include a fun run, high school racquetball tournament, squash and handball tournaments, family scavenger hunt, and more, as well as volunteer efforts and an exhibit at the Oregon Historical Society. George Spencer, a former MAC president, organized the sponsorship.
