The Convocation on Equality, held on the 10 year anniversary of the first Convocation, was an all-day event dedicated to advancing principles of diversity and inclusion in the practice of law in Oregon. In addition to a keynote address by Paula Boggs, General Counsel of Starbucks Coffee Company, the day featured three seminar tracks covering topics for lawyers seeking to improve their own practical skills, lawyers seeking to increase their knowledge about diversity and cultural competency, and legal employers seeking to improve diversity in their workplaces. Over 400 people registered for this year's event.
