Tonkon Torp has long been a champion of increasing the diversity of the Oregon legal community. One of the programs the firm supports is Opportunities for Law in Oregon (OLIO). OLIO is the Oregon State Bar’s recruitment and retention program for law students who can contribute to the bar’s historically or currently underrepresented membership. Tonkon Torp has been a long-standing supporter of the program.
One of OLIO’s signature fundraising events is BOWLIO, an annual bowling tournament. Tonkon Torp has been supporting, and has had a team at, BOWLIO for the last decade. This year’s Tonkon Torp team (the “Torpedoes,” pictured above) included attorneys Sarah Einowski, Bob Koch, and Alex Tinker, along with Jeri Chavis, our Manager of Attorney Recruiting. Our Tonkon Torpedoes did us proud and earned not only first place in the tournament, but best group uniform as well!
