Tonkon Torp Labor & Employment Group Welcomes Jordan Jeter

PORTLAND, Ore. (May 31, 2022) Tonkon Torp LLP welcomes associate Jordan Jeter to its Labor & Employment Practice Group.

“When it came time to transition my practice, I spoke with several former colleagues and classmates who now work at Tonkon Torp,” shared Jeter. “It quickly became clear that the firm’s reputation for top-notch lawyering and a tight-knit community is well-founded. I am thankful to be part of the team and look forward to expanding my labor and employment practice and working with employers to create solutions for their employment matters.”

Prior to Tonkon Torp, Ms. Jeter worked as a litigation associate at McKean Smith Law and as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Roger DeHoog of the Oregon Court of Appeals (now on the Oregon Supreme Court), and the Honorable Barbara A. Madsen of the Washington Supreme Court. As a law student, she worked as an appellate intern at the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

“We are excited that Jordan has joined Tonkon Torp and we look forward to helping her develop her practice here,” shared Kristin Bremer Moore, Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. “Her experience clerking for several judges and working in litigation has given her particular insight into the appeals process, which will be very valuable for our clients.”

Jeter received her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from University of Washington, and her J.D. Order of the Coif, from University of Washington School of Law.
