Tonkon Torp Elects Two Attorneys to Partnership

PORTLAND, Ore. (November 26, 2025) Tonkon Torp LLP has elected attorneys Jordan Jeter and Michele Wasson to its partnership, effective January 1, 2026.

Jordan Jeter joined Tonkon Torp in 2022 as a lateral associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment Group. She represents employers against an array of claims, including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as wage and hour and leave law violations. She collaborates closely with employers and provides advice on numerous issues, with a notable emphasis on designing and implementing leave programs in compliance with state and federal regulations. Jeter is recognized for her labor and employment expertise in The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, and Oregon Super Lawyers.

Michele Wasson joined Tonkon Torp in 2023 with nearly two decades’ experience in nonprofit and estate planning law. She serves as Chair of the firm’s Nonprofit Organizations Group, with a practice focused on providing legal counsel, training, and strategic planning to nonprofit organizations, trade associations, social clubs, professional groups, advocacy groups, public charities, and private foundations. Wasson also works with high net wealth clients to provide wealth management and estate planning solutions incorporating family wealth transfers. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for her work in trusts and estates.
