Tonkon Torp Attorneys Provide Legal Overview at TiE XL Bootcamp

On March 4, attorneys from Tonkon Torp’s Entrepreneurial Services and Labor & Employment practice groups spoke to Oregon startups participating in the TiE Oregon XL Bootcamp. 

Adam Adkin spoke about corporate and business law fundamentals relevant to startup businesses including planning for growth and outside investment.
Rebecca Ok provided an employment law overview, including independent contractor issues, wage and hour issues, workplace policies and procedures, and hiring considerations.  
Parna Mehrbani shared insight into different types of intellectual property, how to protect intellectual property, choosing and registering a trademark, and the scope of copyright protection.
