Sunwest Management Bankruptcy Case is Topic of Forum Discussion

Tonkon Torp bankruptcy attorney Albert N. Kennedy shared his experience and perspective about one of Oregon’s biggest and most complex bankruptcy cases at a March 16, 2012 event hosted by Lewis & Clark Law School.

The Keller Entrepreneurship Scholars Forum provides law students with the opportunity to discuss a prominent case with professionals in the legal and business community. The event featured Kennedy and other key individuals who were involved in resolving the Sunwest Management bankruptcy and subsequent $1.2 billion sale to Blackstone Real Estate Advisors in 2010.

A member of Tonkon Torp’s Bankruptcy Practice Group, Kennedy’s practice focuses on bankruptcy, commercial law and creditor’s right. He has been instrumental in the resolution of many high profile bankruptcy cases, including Sunwest.
