Tonkon Torp partner Steven Wilker has joined the board of directors for the Classic Wines Auction. The Classic Wines Auction raises funds for Oregon and Southwest Washington nonprofit organizations that focus on providing services to children and families. Their current beneficiaries are Metropolitan Family Service (MFS), New Avenues for Youth, Friends of the Children – Portland, YWCA Clark County, and the Unity Center for Behavioral Health.
"I recently completed eight years of service on the MFS board,” noted Wilker. “Moving to the Classic Wines Auction board is a natural progression that allows me to continue working to advance the mission of MFS and the other worthy nonprofits supported by the Classic Wines Auction.”
Wilker is Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department and Information Privacy & Security Practice Group. He counsels clients in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, media communications and technology, information security, energy, corporate governance, real estate, and finance issues. An AV-rated litigator, Wilker is also a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Financial Services & Investment Management practice groups.
