Only one lawyer per specialty in a community is honored as Lawyer of the Year.

Ronald Greenman was named 2025 Portland Lawyer of the Year for his work in Mergers & Acquisitions Law. Ron joined Tonkon Torp in 1978. His business law practice emphasizes securities, finance, and corporate acquisitions, and counseling companies through the stages of growth.
Drew Hagedorn was named 2025 Portland Lawyer of the year in the category Government Relations Practice. Drew is Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Government Relations & Public Policy Practice Group. He is a long-time public affairs professional offering comprehensive government affairs services for the firm’s clients at the state, local, and regulatory levels. Drew joined Tonkon Torp in 2009.
Parna Mehrbani was named 2025 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Trademark Law. Parna is Co-Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Intellectual Property and Information Privacy & Security practice groups. Her work is focused on intellectual property, trademark registration and enforcement, and advising and litigating trademark portfolios for local, national, and international companies at all stages of growth. Parna joined Tonkon Torp in 2018.
Thomas Palmer was named 2025 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Corporate Law. Tom specializes in securities and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements. He regularly acts as general corporate counsel, including on corporate governance issues and SEC reporting and disclosure matters. Tom joined Tonkon Torp in 1988.
Steven Wilker was named 2025 Portland Lawyer of the Year for his work in Litigation: First Amendment law. Steven is Co-Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department and Information Privacy & Security group. He also serves as Chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice. Steven counsels clients in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, media communications and technology, information security, and more. He joined Tonkon Torp in 1992.
Zach Wright was named 2025 Portland Lawyer of the Year for his work in Litigation: Environmental law. Zach joined Tonkon Torp in 1993. His practice is focused in complex business and securities litigation. He also has significant experience in regulatory litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and the protection of rights in intellectual property.
