Rocky Dallum Provides Agricultural Law Legislative Update

On July 20, Tonkon Torp partner Rocky Dallum provided a legislative update at the Agriculture Law program held by the Seminar Group. Rocky reviewed the major themes of Oregon’s 2018 legislative session and provided an overview of new laws that will impact the agriculture sector through small business tax laws and land use laws. He also shared insight into the current political landscape and agricultural issues that may be on the table for the 2019 session in the areas of environment, water law, land use, wildlife, animal health and welfare, and tax.

Rocky is a partner in the firm's Government Relations & Public Policy Practice Group. He provides strategic counsel to businesses, nonprofits, and trade associations on public policy issues and advocates on their behalf within the state executive and legislative branches. Rocky is particularly active in the areas of tax policy, life sciences, and natural resources.
