Mick Harris Accepted into Leadership Portland

Tonkon Torp attorney Mick Harris has been accepted into the 2026 class of Leadership Portland, an annual program offered by the Portland Metro Chamber to cultivate and develop community leaders.

The Leadership Portland program is designed to help professionals better understand the institutions and critical issues impacting our region. Class cohorts meet regularly to explore different aspects of civic life in Portland: local and state government, public safety, land use, education, housing and infrastructure, arts and culture, and more. Activities over the nine-month program include topical deep-dives, panels, group discussions, and site visits across the metro region.

“Civic engagement is a primary value at Tonkon Torp that aligns with my personal belief in the importance of building community,” said Harris. “I am tremendously grateful to be a part of the 2026 Leadership Portland cohort. Incredible efforts are underway to ensure a bright future for Portland, and I am honored to be a part of the process.”

Since 2003, over 20 Tonkon Torp lawyers have participated in Leadership Portland – recent participants include litigators Will Gent, Danny Newman, and Jeff Bradford.

Mick is a senior associate in Tonkon Torp’s Business Department with a practice focused on corporate governance, general business law, and real estate. Mick counsels startups, emerging growth companies, and large-scale businesses on venture capital and angel financings, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, and nuts-and-bolts business matters. He is also experienced in the nonprofit sector in matters of entity formation, governance, and compliance.
