(November 12, 2025) Attorney Michele Wasson has joined the OHSU Foundation’s Gift Planning Council, a group of leading legal, investment, and tax professionals providing advice and counsel to the OHSU gift planning program, with a focus on deferred gift opportunities and real property gift transactions.
The OHSU Foundation works to secure private philanthropic support to advance OHSU’s vital missions and to invest and manage gifts responsibly. Thousands of donors contribute millions of dollars in financial support to OHSU and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital every year, making the OHSU Foundation, with more than $1.5 billion in assets, one of the largest public university foundations in the Northwest.
Michele Wasson is Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group, concentrating her practice on providing legal counsel, training, and strategic planning to nonprofit organizations, including trade associations, social clubs, professional groups, advocacy groups, public charities, private foundations, and other nonprofit entities.
