Michael Willes Talks AI in the Legal Industry for Everlaw Summit

Tonkon Torp litigator Michael Willes was a featured panelist at the recent Everlaw Summit held in San Francisco, California. Willes and his co-panelists discussed the future of legal practice in the age of AI and reviewed new industry research on the expected impacts of generative AI on lawyers’ organizational needs and professional development.

The panel dug into statistics on the rate of generative AI adoption in law firms and discussed the need for proper policy and ethical governance concerning the use of AI, as well as the future of training new lawyers to be fluent with AI and related technology.
