Tonkon Torp litigation partner Lauren Bernton participated in a virtual panel for students in the University of Oregon Law School Career Exploration & Professional Planning class, offering career tips for UO law students preparing to enter the workforce.
Bernton was part of a breakout session focused on careers in business law. She and her co-panelist discussed their professional journeys, their day-to-day practices, their experiences with mentors, and the professional challenges and setbacks they have faced along the way. Bernton is a 2016 University of Oregon Law School graduate. Her practice is focused on all types of commercial disputes, with an emphasis on complex real estate litigation. She advocates for multinational companies, regional companies, and local businesses to help them achieve their goals through trial and dispute resolution.
