Jeff Cronn Provides Closely Held Businesses with Legal Perspective on Transitions

On May 25, Tonkon Torp attorney Jeff Cronn spoke on a panel of professional business advisors at a business transition planning seminar hosted by KeyBank for closely held businesses.

Jeff provided a perspective on legal issues relevant to business transition planning. The issues he discussed included the prior review of corporate and tax structure, preparation for due diligence, consideration of related party transactions, protection of intellectual property, and consideration of employee incentives.

Jeff has chaired Tonkon Torp’s Business Department since 2008. In his transactional and corporate practice, he counsels public, private, and nonprofit entities regarding mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities and financings, disputes with shareholders, and other general corporate matters.
